Clonazepam Usage

lonazepam is a benzodiazepine used to treat seizures and panic / anxiety disorders. Clonazepam may also be used to treat other conditions as determined by your doctor.

How To Take Clonazepam

Follow the directions for using Clonazepam provided by your doctor. Take Clonazepam every day at evenly spaced intervals. Clonazepam may be taken with food if it upsets your stomach. If you miss a dose take it as soon as possible. If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular dosing schedule. Do not take 2 doses at once.

Clonazepam Side Effects

Clonazepam side effects, that may go away during treatment, include excessive daytime drowsiness, unusual weakness, dizziness, lightheadedness, headache, clumsiness, or unsteadiness, irritability, impaired attention and memory, depression, nausea, loss of appetite. If these symptoms continue or are bothersome, check with your doctor. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor, nurse, or pharmacist.

Precautions for Clonazepam

Do not share Clonazepam medicine with others for whom it was not prescribed. Do not use this medicine for other health conditions. Keep Clonazepam out of the reach of children. *Benzodiazepine dependency is a serious condition and may result in withdrawal symptoms.

Clonazepam Missed Dosage

If a dose of Clonazepam missed, take it as soon as possible. If several hours have passed or if it is nearing time for the next Clonazepam dose, do not double the dose to catch up, unless advised by your doctor. If more than one Clonazepam dose is missed, contact your doctor or pharmacist.
